Portfolio

A selection of my recent oil paintings, inspired by gardens, wild places and the objects around me, in three collections: Wildflowers, Wonky Pots & Vases, and Fall Leaves.

Wildflowers

These paintings are inspired by the wild and cultivated flowers I encounter around me, especially in High Park, Toronto. I’m drawn to their colour, movement and beautiful disorder.

Wonky Pots & Vases

I love a vase that refuses to stand up straight. These paintings celebrate flowers, pots and everyday objects without worrying too much about perfect proportions or tidy edges. I’m interested in colour, shape and gesture—and in letting things stay just a little bit wonky.

Fall Leaves

Gold, burgundy and green leaves glow against pale tree trunks in an impression of High Park in autumn.
