Wildflowers
These paintings are inspired by the wild and cultivated flowers I encounter around me, especially in High Park, Toronto. I’m drawn to their colour, movement and beautiful disorder.
Sunflower Garden
Sunflowers emerge from a lively field of greens, yellows and soft greys, with areas of bare canvas left to breathe.
Rudbeckia (Black-eyed Susans)
Bright yellow Black-eyed Susans punctuate a quieter background of greens, greys and lavender.
Rose of Sharons
Soft pink blossoms appear among layers of foliage and shifting colour, suggesting the abundance of a summer garden.
Salmon Canna Lilies
Warm salmon and crimson blooms create a bold rhythm against cooler greens, blues and touches of white.
